Al Khayma Heritage Restaurant Abu Dhabi

We had a very lovely meal in Al Khayma Heritage Restaurant. Initially they didn’t have a proper seating available, the other place they offered was good but i couldn’t sit there(floor seats). Kuya Del managed to find us good seats and we had an amazing meal and it was at our comfort too. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody visiting the mall or the Grand sheik mosque. The other guy who served us was lovely too and explained the meals for us. Brilliant service, food and we felt very special. Thank you.

We had dinner here after visiting the mosque. At first, we didn’t know what to order, but our waitress, Papa Win, gave us great recommendations for both food and drinks — she was amazing. We ordered the mango and passion fruit juice, mix grilled platter and hummus, The flat bread was warm and sooo good. The food had lots of flavor and everything was absolutely delicious. I usually don’t like lamb, but here it was actually really good. Definitely a great experience, highly recommended!

While the food was all excellent, what really stood out was the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. This would be an automatic return for me just for this. I must also say the food was fantastic as it would be a disservice not to mention this! The date pudding especially stood out and is a must try if you have any space left after your meal.

The food was exceptional. I’m not an expert in this area of the world but have had similar food in the US, and none of it came close to this. Very recommended. Although the portions were a bit big for us. Maran and Nayef were great servers! Very attentive and kind. Five star service. We sat at the carpet section and it was fun.

we had an excellent experience in this restaurant especially the ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the service was truly outstanding. The food was delicious, each dish full of authentic flavors especially the Mix Grill & the “küba” arabic bread are truly delicious and the dessert was especially unforgettable. A big thank you to Saeed and Adil for their wonderful service. Their attentiveness made our visit even more enjoyable. Special mention to their manager Delmar, who was incredibly accommodating. He consistently checked on us to ensure everything was perfect and that all our dishes were complete and served on time. Overall, it was an exceptional dining experience. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic experience dining here! Our waitress, Papa Win, was outstanding from start to finish - warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful with the menu. We definitely over-ordered (the portions are very generous!), so we couldn’t finish everything, but what we did manage to try was absolutely delicious. A few dishes were a bit too spicy for me personally, but the rest of the group loved them, and the overall quality of the food was excellent. Huge thanks to Papa Win for making the meal so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!

It was our 1st time at Al Khayma Abu Dhabi. We came here because our brother came to visit from Canada. He had marked this place as a must visit even before his arrival based on the amazing reviews the restaurant had. Safe to say we were not disappointed. The food was amazing. We topped off our dinner with the date pudding… which was the best dessert we have ever had in the UAE. More than the food, we were warmly greeted by the staff and we made friends with Abdo. Abdo’s service was amazing and he was kind and considerate and greeted us with his warm smile. We are definitely coming back to see Abdo.. and maybe we’ll have some food as well. Thank you Abdo and Al Khayma team.
